Dr. K founded Rehabilitative Massage Clinic in 1999. She is a Master Body worker carrying over 12 years of experience in injury work! After completing her undergraduate degree at Colorado State University, Kathleen attended Community College of Denver for her massage certificate. She then completed a 2 1/2 year program in Natural Health which granted her a Doctor of Natural Health degree. Course work included: Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Chinese Medicine, diet and nutrition, Hypnotherapy, Psychosomatic aspects of illness, and Cranial-Sacral therapy to name a few. Her massage treatment specialties include: Myoskeletal Alignment, Deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point therapy, and t-bar work making her an auto accident and worker's compensation injury specialist, Dr. K is a firm believer in the act of service and has volunteered with Hospice of St. John and Wounded Warrior Program. Dr. K states, "I just can't imagine doing anything other than my chosen profession. It is such a caring, giving field and the best part is I receive just as much of that healing touch back from my clients as I give out!"
Sherri Schiele is one of our three clinic managers and a Master Body worker. Sherri graduated from Heritage College in 2005. After finishing her externship with RMC, Sherri officially began working with us in 2006. She specializes in soft tissue injury work. Her education in anatomy & physiology coupled with her knowledge of soft tissue injuries helps her to create a custom plan for each client. Sherri states, "I have taken my personal life experiences and applied them to my bodywork which has made me a detailed and responsible master body worker. I am also a strong advocate of continuing education. We must continue to improve ourselves and our skills. For me, massage is so much more than 'touch'. It is a time for healing, connecting, relaxing, and recovering. I love knowing that I have helped a client feel that they can now take on the world!"
Johanna Jones graduated in 2009 from Heritage College and has been working with RMC since. Johanna displays exceptional work ethics coupled with superior body work skills. She is one of our clinic managers specializing in in deep tissue, Swedish, Myoskeletal Alignment, and Prenatal massage. "I am good with my hands and have an innate ability to adjust to my client's needs. I love to work out those knots and know that my client leaves feeling better," Johanna states.
Jennifer Wolf graduated from High Tech Institute of Sacramento. She has been with RMC since 2009. Her specialty is light followed by medium graduating into deep pressure during a massage. Jennifer is one of our Professional Body Workers. Jennifer states, "I always make my client feel relaxed and revived. I take my time to work on what is needed yet, I don't neglect the comfort and benefit of a relaxing massage. I love connecting with my clients and getting to know them. I love being able to assist with the healing process through my hands. I enjoy seeing a client show improvement."
Anna Zimmerli graduated from Denver School of Massage Therapy in 2010 and came to work for RMC in January of 2011. Having a degree and background in art has facilitated Anna's massage skills. Anna states, "Massage therapy is an art form. I am a good listener which helps me in finding that specific technique to use which may vary from client to client. I enjoy deep tissue and trigger point therapy. I have been told I have a healing touch!"
Debby Lemme is one of our front desk, customer point of contact experts! She has over 35 years of experience as a hair designer. Having owned a hair salon, Debby maintains a signification amount of experience welcoming clients and booking appointments. Debby always has your best interest at heart, and enjoys helping you any way she can.
Carrie Shoemaker graduated from Denver School of Massage Therapy in December 2009 coming to work with RMC in March of 2011. Carrie is well versed in: Swedish, Trigger point, Chair massage, and prenatal massage. Carrie states, "Relaxation is only one of the many benefits my clients experience when receiving my massage. They also benefit from increased blood flow, increased joint range of motion, and pain reduction. I am very serious about my work along with being sensitive to my client's needs. I provide a relaxing and clinical/therapeutic experience."
Nanci Wallace graduated from Heritage College in 2011. Nanci is one of our fastest climbing therapists boasting over a 50% request rate! Nanci states, "I love helping people help themselves heal. Whether it's because the healing was initiated from muscle manipulation, energy work, or simply a combination of events that occurred during the massage, seeing the client respond to healing touch is very rewarding. Additionally, I love teaching and informing the client alternative ways that they can take part in the healing process." Nanci continues by saying, "It is my mission, as a massage therapist, to provide only the highest quality of care possible to every client utilizing learned massage techniques and accepted spiritual practices. These techniques will enable enhancement of each person's journey and healing. Additionally, it is my responsibility not only as a therapist, but as a human being, to share my gained knowledge with people I encounter as opportunities present themselves!"
Danny Petitti graduated from Denver School of Massage in 2011. Danny states, "I love massage because it makes people happy! You always feel better and it creates a healthy release from everyday stressors. I listen to and work with my clients to provide the most comfortable, therapeutic experience as possible."
Elsa Rivera graduated from the Denver School of Massage in 2011. Elsa loves helping people and making them feel better. Elsa states, "I understand how debilitating it can be to have a chronic kink in your neck or muscle soreness. I know massage can relieve those disfunctions. I do my best with each and every massage!"
Tiffany Jensen graduated from Denver School of Massage in 2010. Tiffany enjoys seeing the difference in a client both physically and emotionally after massage. Tiffany states, "I like seeing a difference with a client when they walk into the clinic versus when they walk out! They may come in hunched over and leave standing tall and without pain. That makes my day and I love the smiles! I feel that I connect with my clients and can feel what their bodies need. I may have alot more to learn, but I will get there!"
