REHABILITATIVE MASSAGE CLINIC, INC.

In 2009, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Colorado added massage therapy on as a benefit for most of their policy holders. 

Rehabilitative Massage Clinic went through rigorous credentialing to become providers in order to accomodate Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.  RMC is one of the largest massage clinics in the North Metro area offering Anthem Health insurance massages and we do all the billing!

Here is how our procedure works...

Bring in your Anthem Health insurance card (or you may fax it in).  We will verify your benefit and call you with the information we were given by Anthem.  If you have the massage benefit, schedule an appointment, pay your co-pay, and enjoy!  As with any health insurance policy, just because the benefits are "verified" doesn't mean the billing procedure is flawless.  If for some reason your policy benefit is denied, you will be billed for your massage session.  You may want to call Anthem and get the specifics of your policy regarding massage so that you can feel confident about your benefits.

Not all policies cover massage therapy!  Just because you live and/or work in Colorado doesn't mean your policy automatically has the benefit.  Some policies originate out of state.  It depends upon where your company purchased the policy.

Some out-of-state policies do cover massage; however, the massage must be performed by a licensed chiropractor or physical therapist to qualify.  In those cases, RMC is not credentialed to perform the massage as we do not currently employ a chiropractor or physical therapist who performs massage therapy.
